After 2 years, we’re back! Come celebrate our community and support our 2022 gala and auction.
P.S. 84 is an Upper West Side elementary school (K-5) serving a diverse community, that features a monolingual, Spanish and French dual-language programs — it is the only Manhattan school with all three offerings.
Footsteps away from Central Park, PS84 is a small and diverse neighborhood school. An engaged community of families supports and is actively involved in a rich offering of arts, culture, and technology during the school day and beyond.
The Gala and Auction are the most important fundraising events of
the year at P.S. 84, and we hope you will consider supporting the event.
Where Does The Money Go?
The Department of Education primarily funds for the main classroom teacher – but our school needs to raise more than $300,000 each year to provide for all the extras that makes PS84 special.
The success of the Gala & Auction depends on parent solicitations and contributions.
Donations are 100% tax deductible – The Fund for P.S. 84, Inc. is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization
Gala and Auction fundraising are going toward:
- Teaching Assistants (K-2nd grade)
- Math and reading coaches
- Librarian and library supplies
- Recess aides and enrichment
- Garden teacher and garden supplies
- Classroom technology
- Nursing supplies and health programs
- Wellness education

All donations are tax-deductible, and an acknowledgement letter will be provided for your records. Your donation will be recognized with your name and website in the auction item description shared with PS84 900+ parents, 200+ gala attendees and more broadly across the Upper West Side community.
